Sorry for the confusion if you are looking for the June 2025 volunteer event, there is not a volunteer event on the 25th. There will be a Pop-Up Picnic on Tuesday, June 17th, from 4-7pm. Bring your own blanket and picnic! Check back for details.

Project: Working with Portland Parks and Recreation’s horticulturalist
to remove invasive weeds along the fence of the playing field, before they spread to the neighborhood, and your garden
Portland Parks and Recreation will bring snacks, coffee and along with tools needed and knowledge of what we are removing and best techniques.
Bring your water bottle and gloves, if you have them. Friends of AHP will have water for refills and gloves if you need some.
Children are welcomed, but must bring an adult with them.
Come when you can and stay as long as you can

Free. Music by Rogue Bluegrass Band. Fun begins at 6:00pm. Movie: Star Wars-The Force Awakens begins at 8:30pm. Food for purchase, raffle, fire and police vehicles, climbing wall, kids activities, local booths and more.
